White Sox place Gonzalez (shoulder) on DL

White Sox right-hander Miguel Gonzalez was placed on the 10-day disabled list on Monday, retroactive to Thursday, due to right rotator cuff inflammation. Right-hander Chris Beck's contract was purchased from Triple-A Charlotte, and to make room for Beck on the 40-man roster, the club transferred Danny Farquhar to the 60-day disabled list.

Fulmer still starting

By Hahn's estimation, Carson Fulmer had a good start against the Blue Jays, an average start against the Rays and a poor start against the A's among his three 2018 trips to the mound. But the 24-year-old will not be leaving the rotation any time soon.
