Chicago White Sox "K Zone For Sale" tickets at U.S. Cellular Field are still available for the first game of Saturday's split doubleheader at 12:10 p.m., as Sox ace Chris Sale faces off against the Detroit Tigers and their ace, Max Scherzer.
Sale (three-time All-Star) and Scherzer (two-time All-Star) are among the best pitchers in baseball. Sale currently leads the American League in ERA (2.03), while Scherzer is the reigning American League Cy Young Award winner. Sale (T2nd, .201) and Scherzer (9th, .234) also rank in the Top 10 of the AL in opponent batting average.
"K Zone For Sale" tickets, located in Sections 154 and 155, are available online at whitesox.com/kzone. Tickets in the section this Saturday are $20. Fans with "K Zone" tickets for Saturday's game can redeem them for a K Zone t-shirt and strikeout placard in the #SoxSocial Lounge before the end of the first inning.
The first game of the split doubleheader will be televised on Comcast SportsNet Plus and broadcast on WSCR-AM 670 (The Score) and 97.5 FM ESPN Deportes.
Previously purchased tickets, parking passes and patio tickets from the postponed game on June 10 will be honored for the rescheduled 12:10 p.m. game.
