CHICAGO -- White Sox manager Robin Ventura challenged an eighth-inning call of a foul ball on a pitch from Minnesota's Samuel Deduno to Gordon Beckham on Sunday afternoon at U.S. Cellular Field.

With Chicago trailing, 13-3, Beckham appeared to be hit on the hand by a pitch, but the played was ruled a foul.

After review, the call was overturned and Beckham was awarded first base via a hit by pitch.

The White Sox lost, 16-3.
