CLEVELAND -- Adam Eaton was out of Saturday's lineup against the Indians and probably won't play during the first-half finale on Sunday. Eaton is battling a sore right ankle after getting hit by a Corey Kluber pitch Friday, as well as a sore left wrist.
"And his foot. And probably his hamstring. Maybe his neck," said White Sox manager Robin Ventura of Eaton's list of maladies. "The list is very long with him, that I had to read. There's plenty there. He could play, but right now we're hoping [with] these couple of days plus the All-Star break he'll be totally fresh on Friday."
Eaton, who is hitting .317 with runners in scoring position, has reached base in 31 of his last 34 games.
