May, Coe to represent White Sox at Draft

KANSAS CITY -- Former White Sox outfielder and first baseman Carlos May and manager of youth baseball initiatives Kevin Coe will serve as Chicago's representatives for the 2014 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.

May, a two-time All-Star, and Coe will be in Secaucus, N.J., for the Draft. The White Sox have the third overall pick.

The 2014 Draft will take place on June 5-7, beginning with the Draft preview show on and MLB Network on Thursday, June 5, at 5 p.m. CT. May played with the White Sox from 1968 to 1976, earning spots on the American League All-Star team in his rookie season (1969) and 1972. He now works as a community relations representative in the White Sox organization.
