The Chicago White Sox announced an expanded list of current players scheduled to appear at SoxFest 2014, which now includes Jose Abreu, Nate Jones, Matt Lindstrom and Alexei Ramirez. Two White Sox prospects, Erik Johnson (who appeared in five games with the White Sox last season) and Marcus Semien (who played in 21 games for the White Sox in 2013), also will be participating in the weekend's events.
They join Adam Dunn, Avisail Garcia, Josh Phegley, Addison Reed and Hector Santiago, who all are scheduled to be at SoxFest.
SoxFest 2014 is sponsored by Miller Lite, Pepsi, Comcast SportsNet and WGN-TV and will be held Friday, January 24, Saturday, January 25 and Sunday, January 26, 2014.
The special SoxFest rate for a two-night stay at the Palmer House Hilton is $278 (plus applicable taxes and fees, detailed on whitesox.com). Fans who purchase a two-night stay are eligible to also purchase up to four SoxFest weekend passes (special early-bird rate of $60) per room reservation. The early-bird rate is available until Tuesday, December 3.

SoxFest offers fans the opportunity to meet their favorite former White Sox players, including past stars Ron Kittle, Carlos May, Minnie Minoso, Tom Paciorek, Gary Peters and Frank Thomas, as well as manager Robin Ventura.
This is the eighth year the historic Palmer House Hilton will host the annual White Sox fan gathering, now in its 22nd year.
