White Sox option Jordan Danks to Triple-A Charlotte


CHICAGO – Following today’s game vs. Baltimore, the Chicago White Sox optioned outfielder Jordan Danks to Triple-A Charlotte.

Danks, 26, is batting .135 (5-37) in 32 games over two stints with the White Sox this season.  He appeared in 23 games after being recalled from Charlotte for the second time on June 2, going 2-22 (.111).

The White Sox will make a corresponding roster move prior to tomorrow night’s game at Tampa Bay.
