CHICAGO -- Despite having a wrap on his left shin, catcher Hector Gimenez reported no ill effects after getting hit by a Justin Masterson pitch leading off the seventh of Monday's 3-2 loss to the Indians. Gimenez could have played Tuesday if there was a game.

"He looks fine," manager Robin Ventura said. "That's one of those that hurts at the time. He was going to get run for anyway. He wanted to stay in, but he's going to be fine."
