U.S. Cellular Field will host White Sox fans and their pets at the first Dog Day of the 2013 season on Tuesday, April 23. Dogs and their owners will enter via Gate 1 and are invited to a designated seating area that will open at 5:40 p.m., in addition to a special parade prior to the start of the game

The White Sox will host the fifth annual Weather Day, presented by WGN-TV, featuring chief meteorologist Tom Skilling prior to the game. In celebration of Weather Day, Tom Skilling will host a 45-minute video presentation followed by a special Q & A session with fans. Fans planning to attend should arrive at Gate 5 by 10:00 a.m., as the presentation will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m.

All-Pro cornerback for the Chicago Bears Tim Jennings has started for the team at corner for the past two seasons and led the NFL with nine interceptions this past year. Jennings had interceptions in four consecutive games during the 2012 season, becoming the first Bears player to accomplish the feat since Dave Duerson in 1986.
The White Sox have dedicated Thursday, April 25 as Ladies Night, which features specially priced tickets for all female Sox fans, along with a performance by Girlband and free massages at Gate 5.

Carlton Fisk, former White Sox catcher, was a member of the 1983 A.L. West Championship team and spent 13 years of his playing career with the White Sox. Fisk was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000 after a notable career including 11-time All-Star status, Gold Glove Award (1972), Rookie of the Year (1972) and 3-time Silver Slugger Award (1981, '85 and '88).
The White Sox will have a brief welcome-back ceremony to honor Carlton Fisk prior to the first pitch.
