CHICAGO – Magellan Corporation, a leading global distributor of specialty steel, has partnered with the Chicago White Sox to become the official corporate sponsor of the premium Scout Seat Section and Scout Seat Lounge at U.S. Cellular Field. The sponsorship agreement includes the 2013, 2014 and 2015 baseball seasons.

Our ongoing partnership with the White Sox has yielded an excellent return on investment and, just as importantly, it affords us the opportunity to promote some fine Chicagoland civic organizations,” states Bob Arthur, president of Magellan Corporation.
As part of its continued commitment to philanthropy, Magellan Corporation will use this sponsorship as an opportunity to help promote a number of the charitable organizations it supports, including Gilda’s Club, La Rabida Children’s Hospital, The Old Town School of Folk Music, Chicago Council on Science and Technology, DuSable Museum of African American History, as well as Chicago Bulls Charities and, of course, Chicago White Sox Charities. Exhibits in the Scout Lounge area will showcase these charities.
