Fans offered reduced weekend passes for SoxFest
The caravan is on its way, and until Thursday, Nov. 1, it's coming at a discount.

From Jan. 25-27, current and past White Sox will take to the Palmer House Hilton for question-and-answer sessions, the SoxFest Garage Sale and other events.

The White Sox are selling weekend passes to SoxFest 2013 at an early-bird rate of $60 through the end of October. Weekend passes are available only to those who book two-night hotel packages, as Friday night of SoxFest will be open only to SoxFest hotel guests with weekend passes. Up to four weekend passes can be bought per hotel package booked.

The hotel rate is $278 (plus taxes and fees) for a two-night stay.

SoxFest is going in to its 21st year. White Sox greats scheduled to attend this go-around include manager Robin Ventura, first-base coach Harold Baines and ex-players like Joe Crede, Jermaine Dye, Frank Thomas, Greg Luzinski, Jack McDowell and Aaron Rowand.

The active players who came by last year included Gordon Beckham, Jesse Crain, John Danks, Adam Dunn, Tyler Flowers, Gavin Floyd, Philip Humber, Paul Konerko, Alexei Ramirez, Chris Sale, Matt Thornton and Dayan Viciedo.

More information can be found at whitesox.com/SoxFest or via the SoxFest hotline, (312) 609-1915.
