Morel held out of lineup with back stiffness
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Third baseman Brent Morel was scratched from Friday's starting lineup against the Diamondbacks with a stiff back.

A White Sox spokesman said Morel told manager Robin Ventura he could play, but the skipper decided to give him the day off. Morel, who is leading the White Sox with a .400 batting average, is considered day to day.

Brent Lillibridge started at third for Chicago against the Diamondbacks.

First baseman/designated hitter Adam Dunn, who has missed two games this week because of a stiff neck, is expected to be back in the lineup Saturday against Seattle in Glendale.
