White Sox "Pick 14" ticket plan on sale today

CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox are offering a new “Pick 14 Plan” for 2012 home games at U.S. Cellular Field.  This flexible 14-game ticket package became available to the general public today at 11:00 a.m. and can be purchased on whitesox.com or by phone at (312) 674-1000.  The plan features tickets to two or more games per month, including Opening Day and two games during the BP Crosstown Cup Series vs. the Cubs.

The Pick 14 Plan offers savings off 2012 individual game ticket prices and reflects a reduction of up to 24 percent off 2011 individual game prices, with select seats starting as low as $202 for 14 games.

“Through our ticket plans, White Sox fans have the opportunity to purchase the best seats at the best price to our most popular games,” said Brooks Boyer, White Sox senior vice president of marketing and sales.  “And during the holiday season, a ticket plan is the ideal gift for any White Sox fan.”

Both Full Season and Split Season (27 games) plans are available for the 2012 season, and most seats also have been priced to represent a reduction from the 2011 ticket package prices.  Full season plans have been reduced up to 31 percent from 2011 season ticket pricing, while 27-game plans have been reduced up to 23 percent. Nearly half (48 percent) of White Sox Full Season and Split Season ticket plans will cost less than $30 per game in 2012, and a full season ticket can be purchased for under $1,000.

Individual game tickets will be available in February, and as time progresses, those individual game ticket prices may be adjusted through dynamic pricing. Full, Split Season and Pick 14 packages are offered at a fixed cost which is not subject to dynamic pricing.
