White Sox at the plate: Jermaine Dye was 2-for-2, with an RBI. He finished Spring Training with a .361 average, three homers and 14 RBIs. Brian Anderson had two singles but struck out to end the game with two runners on.

Braves at the plate: Ryan Langerhans had three RBIs, on a two-run homer and a sacrifice fly. He finished Spring Training batting .360. Kelly Johnson had an RBI single, walk and stolen base.

White Sox on the mound: Javier Vazquez pitched 6 2/3 innings, allowing four runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out six. He finished the spring with an 0-4 record and an 8.00 ERA.

Braves on the mound: Mark Redman, who will start Atlanta's home opener on Friday against the Mets, allowed five hits and two runs (one earned) in four innings. Bob Wickman pitched around two singles in the ninth inning for his first save of the spring.

Exhibition records: Braves 18-12-2 White Sox 11-22-1

Up next: The White Sox will work out on Sunday at U.S. Cellular Field before opening the regular season at home on Monday against the Indians, with Jose Contreras starting against C.C. Sabathia. The Braves, who open on Monday against the Phillies, are scheduled for a workout on Sunday in Philadelphia. John Smoltz will make his fourth career Opening Day start for the Braves against Brett Myers.
