Hall-of-Famer Frank Thomas added to SoxFest 2016 lineup

Premium Upgrade Package includes must-have SoxFest opportunities

The Chicago White Sox announced that Hall-of-Fame slugger Frank Thomas is scheduled to appear at SoxFest 2016 on Saturday, January 30. The three-day annual fan gathering at the Hilton Chicago on January 29-31- sponsored by Miller Lite, Comcast SportsNet, Beggars Pizza and WGN-TV - features special autograph, photo, question-and-answer sessions and kids-only activities with current players and White Sox greats.
 
Thomas joins an expanded SoxFest 2016 roster scheduled to appear, including outfielder Adam Eaton, as well as prospects Eddy Alvarez, Adam Engel, Jacob May and Trey Michalczewski. In addition, White Sox greats Carlos May, Tom Paciorek and Mike Squires have been added to the SoxFest lineup.
 
Fans who purchase the SoxFest Premium Upgrade Package will have exclusive access to unique opportunities, including: a private photograph session with Chris Sale and his custom-designed ring marking the franchise record of 274 strikeouts in a season, a private seminar with Hall-of-Famer Frank Thomas, and a private autograph session with White Sox slugger Jose Abreu. The package also includes three speed passes that fans can use for premium autograph sessions without waiting in line for SoxFest scheduled guests like Frank Thomas, Bo Jackson, Chris Sale, Jose Abreu, Dioner Navarro, Alex Avila and several others. This package is only available for fans who have a SoxFest hotel package and weekend pass(es). A limited number of packages are still available, and the last day to purchase a SoxFest hotel package is Friday, January 22.
 
Saturday-only passes are sold out. A limited number of two-day Saturday-Sunday passes are available for $75, as well as Sunday-only passes available for $40. Two-night SoxFest hotel packages also are available on whitesox.com/SoxFest and are the only way to purchase weekend passes. SoxFest hotel reservations at the Hilton Chicago are $304 (price does not include applicable taxes, fees and costs for weekend passes). Weekend passes are available for $40 for each adult and for $10 for kids (ages 4 to 13).
